Lancers Bronze At All-Catholic Provincials

The UCC Lancers senior girls volleyball team won bronze this weekend at the provincial All-Catholic tournament.

On day 1, the Lancers finished 2nd in their pool putting the team into the A bracket for the final day of competition which featured 26 teams from across Ontario.

Facing a tough Mother Theresa team in the semi-finals, UCC fell 21-25 and 19-25 to go to the bronze medal match.

Playing St. Marcellinus, who had beaten UCC earlier in the day, the Lancers came away with a dominating 25-19, 25-14 win for the bronze.
