Maroons Drop Game One To Kings

The Chatham Maroons dropped game one of their GOJHL playoffs to the Komoka Kings 2-1 at home.

Dane Johnstone, with assists going to Griffin Robinson and Maddux Rychel, would score the only Chatham goal midway through the first period.

From that point on, the Kings would be the only team to his the scoresheet.

Ryan McAllister and Chase Strychaluk scored for Komoka.

Tristan Lewis took the loss in net for Chatham stopped 34 shots.

Blenheim’s Cameron Welch is a member of the Komoka Kings.
