Pool Sharks Win At WOSA Championships

A pair of Chatham Y Pool Sharks, Noah Matteis and Laura Potter won goal at the West Ontario Swimming Association (WOSA) short-course championships this past weekend.

Noah Matteis and Laura Potter each won a pair of gold medals.

Matteis won the 100m butterfly (1:21.81) and 200m backstroke (2:50.35) in the 11-year-old boys division.

Potter took the 800m freestyle (9:47.05) and 400m freestyle (4:45.32) in the 15-year-old girls division.

Hannah Thompson also had several top 8 finishes. Her times, along with Matteis allowed them to qualify for the Ontario 12&U Festival Championships later this month.
