Yetman Breaks GMHL Scoring Record
Former Chatham Maroons forward Bryce Yetman broke the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League’s all-time single season scoring record.
Playing for the Windsor Aces, Yetman scored an incredible 81 goals and 153 points in only 37 games.
The previous records were 72 goals and 146 points set by Matt Fischer in 2015-2016.
Last season with the Chatham Maroons, Yetman had 38 goals and 68 points in 48 games.
He then went on to win an OJHL title and play for a Junior A National championship with the OJHL’s Wellington Dukes, scoring 15 points in 14 playoff games.
The Whitby product also spent 3 seasons in the OHL, playing for the Plymouth Whalers, Flint Firebirds, and Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
Yetman will play next season for the University of Windsor Lancers men’s hockey team.
