Carleton Named Big 12 Player of the Year

Bridget Carleton of Chatham has been named the Big 12 Women’s Basketball player of the year.

The senior was also a unanimous First Team All-Star, and the first ever Iowa State Cyclones player to win the honour.

Carleton averaged over 20 points against every league opponent, leading the Big 12 and Iowa State with 24.6 points per game, along with 8.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.2 steals, and 1.2 blocks.

En route to the honour, Carleton was the Big 12 Player of the Week six times.
