Tetrault GOJHL’s Top Defenseman, Johnstone Best Defensive Forward
Levi Tetrault was named the GOJHL Western Conference’s Best Defenseman, while Chatham Maroons captain Dane Johnstone was named the league’s top defensive forward.
The GOJHL announced their annual awards Wednesday, which also saw Maroons goalie Adam Harris named
to the All-Rookie team. Wallaceburg’s Alec DeKoning who plays for the Sarnia Legionnaires was named a First Team All-Star.
Tetrault, the captain of the Leamington Flyers, and former Chatham Maroons (GOJHL) and Guelph Storm (OHL) defender, had 5 goals and 26 points for the Flyers this season.
Johnstone, a St. Thomas product, had 27 goals for the Chatham Maroons this season. The forward spent two seasons with the OHL’s Flint Firebirds, and also spent time with the St. Thomas Stars.
In his rookie campaign with the Chatham Maroons, goalie Adam Harris had a 2.74 GAA and .918 save percentage.
