Wallaceburg Wins OMHA Championship

The Wallaceburg Lakers Midget Rep team won an Ontario ‘B’ championship Friday night in front of a packed crowd at Wallaceburg’s Memorial Arena.

The game, a back and forth affair went into overtime tied 2-2 before Wallaceburg scored to win 3-2 in the deciding game to defeat Penetang.

The two teams had split the first four games of the 6-point series taking two wins each.
