Pickleball Lessons Being Offered This May

Beginner and Intermediate small group pickleball lessons are scheduled at the St. Clair College HealthPlex on four Thursday evenings next month – May 9, 16, 23 and 30. Beginner lessons are from 6:00 – 7:30 pm and intermediate players from 8:00 – 9:30 with IPTPA Certified instructor Jay Salisbury. Groups will be limited to 8 players with lots of individual attention. Cost is $80 for non CKPC members and $40 for CKPC members (It is only $30 for an Adult CKPC membership and $25 for Senior membership)

Beginners will focus on proper stroke skills, footwork, rules, scoring, how to practice and supervised game play.

Intermediate will focus on drills to improve consistency, effective communication with your partner, the strategy of hitting “unattackable” shots, the importance of depth, when to hit soft (and when NOT to).

It would be advisable to sign up with your favourite playing partner so you can improve as a team!
