Wallaceburg could not find the cure at home for their losing streak, as they dropped Sunday’s game in Dresden to the Guelph Regals by a 13-5 score.

Missing three of the Devils top five scoring leaders Wallaceburg struggled in the offensive zone for most of the game. The Devils trailed after the first period by a 6-1 score, and by 10-2 after two.

The Regals were able to chase Wallaceburg starter Cecil Jacobs from the net after the first, and CJ Gibson came in relief for the final two periods. Hunter Santsche had a four point night (1G,3A) for the Devils, and Cam Bechard chipped in 2 goals and an assist for three points.

The Devils next have a road game against a strong Elora Mohawks team, Saturday June first, and return to Dresden Sunday June 2, to face the Owen Sound North Stars.
