Chatham FC Stays Undefeated

Chatham FC were at home on Tuesday night taking on the Ingersoll Flyers, fighting their way to a 2-1 win to stay undefeated in the LAWSL First Division.

Chatham jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Shelbie Coristine set up Alex Bechard for the opening goal.

Chatham continued to pressure the Ingersoll defence and were rewarded when Emily McFeat was taken down in the penalty box and Reece Cowan converted the penalty kick for a 2-0 lead at the half.

Chatham had many chances to close out the game in the 2nd half but eventually conceded a late goal. They hung on for a 2-1 victory to remain undefeated with a 5-0-2 record.

Chatham is back in action at home on Tuesday June 25 against the German Canadian Fusion.
