Double Gold For Local Beach Volleyball Athletes

Kenzie Lahey and Teya Meredith played in their first Ontario Volleyball Association beach volleyball tournament of the year this past Saturday in Port Stanley and came home with gold medals. The girls went undefeated in the 13U Premier Division of eight teams. Sophie Garrow and Riley Graham were quarter-finalists in the same division. Larissa Bond and Rowan Guy were quarter-finalists in the Championship Division.

In the girls 15U Premier Division of 12 teams, Elliot Cowan and Lauryn Lahey were semi-finalists, Gabby Arbour and Lauren Garrow were quarter-finalists and Ela Bos and Marcy Shaw pre-quarter finalists.

In the boys 15U Premier Division of 12 teams, Clarke Denomy and Kaden Reid were semi-finalists.

On Sunday, in more Port Stanley action, Turner Lessard and Carter Pittuck brought home gold medals in the boys 14U Premier Division of seven teams. Liam Cobb and Bryson Davis were semi-finalists in the same division.
