The Leamington Flyers continue adding players with Chatham-Kent connections.

The team announced they’ve signed Blenheim Blades forward, and former Chatham-Kent Cyclones star Cameron Symons.

Symonds was the PJHL rookie of the year runner up, and had 20 goals and 30 points in 31 games for the Blades this season.

Leamington also added former Cyclones captain Spencer Lecot, who was drafted by the Flint Firebird in the second round, 22nd overall in the U18 OHL Draft this year.

Lecot played for the Windsor Jr. Spitfires Major Midget team where he had 17 goals and 33 points in 35 games. Lecot also played 9 regular season and playoff games for Leamington last season.

In a separate move, Leamington acquired Darby Lemieux of Tilbury from the Chatham Maroons.
