Lakers Holding Public Meeting

The Wallaceburg Lakers will be hosting a town meeting June 6 at 7pm upstairs in the Wallaceburg Legion.

According to a news release by the team, the Lakers “will be making a few announcements at this time and be having an open discussion.”

The Wallaceburg Lakers ownership and management are inviting all residents of Wallaceburg as well as all media outlets to this meeting.

Wallaceburg’s Junior C franchise has been in turmoil in recent seasons, most notably this offseason when the story broke the Lakers were attempting a move to Tilbury, a bid which failed.
