Durston Selected By New York Riptide In NLL Expansion Draft
Wallaceburg’s Jordan Durston will be wearing a new jersey next season, after being selected by the New York Riptide in Tuesday’s National Lacrosse League (NLL) expansion draft.
Durston, who played last season for the Buffalo Bandits, was the second selection in the 1st round of the NLL Expansion Draft.
The NLL is expanding by two teams next season, with the Riptide and Rochester Knighthawks entering the league.
Durston will enter his fifth season in the NLL, playing two with Buffalo, and two with Vancouver.
Last season he had 15 goals and 47 points in 18 games for Buffalo, before adding 6 points in 4 playoff games.
In 71 career games, Durston has 81 goals and 193 points.
