Wammes Aiming For The Podium At Pan Am Games
“My goal for Pan Am Games is to finish on the podium in the sprint competition,” said Wammes, who twice represented Canada at the World Junior Championships.
“This will be my first time representing Canada at a major multi sport games. It’s an incredible opportunity and an honour to be selected as part of Team Canada,” he added.
Wammes has been participating on the World Cup circuit this year, and following the Pan Am Games in Lima, he’ll be back on the track for multiple International competitions, the Canadian National Championships, and the World Cup.
Wammes will compete in the sprint and keirin events in Lima.
The 2019 Pan American Games take place from July 26 to August 11 in Lima, Peru.
