Adam Trella, Ferrah Blackbird At National Championships With Team Ontario

A pair of Wallaceburg lacrosse players will represent Team Ontario this week at the National Championships in British Columbia.

Adam Trella will play for Team Ontario’s Peewee boys team, while Ferrah Blackbird will play for Ontario’s Midget girls team.

Trella, who attends St. Elizabeth in Wallaceburg, played this summer for the Peewee Wallaceburg Griffins.

Blackbird played for Wallaceburg’s Intermediate girls team.

Both Trella and Blackbird won provincial silver medals with their respective Griffins teams this season.

The tournament is to be held August 20th to 24th in Coquitlam, British Columbia.
