Chatham FC will look to snap a three game losing skid when they get back on the field next week.

At home on Tuesday night hosting the 1st place and undefeated Alliance FC, Chatham fell 4-2.

In their last meeting, Chatham FC tied the Alliance 0-0 in London earlier in the schedule, and were hoping for another successful outing.

Chatham went down 1 early in the 1st half, but were able to reply with a goal of their own, when Reece Cowan sent a square ball outside the box that Julia Verscheure buried bar down to tie the game at 1 each. Alliance scored late in the half to take a 2-1 lead into the break.

Chatham were determined to stay in the game but a questionable free kick was awarded outside their box and the Alliance converted to go up by 2. The Alliance scored again to widen the gap to 3 goals. Despite being down 4-1, Chatham kept fighting and Jillian Hyatt and Reece Cowan combined to find a streaking Ceara Travis who lobbed a high shot into the top of the net to close out Chatham’s scoring.

Chatham goes back to work on Monday night in London against the German Canadian Fusion, looking to get back into the win column.
