Maroons Open Main Camp This Weekend
After two weeks of signing announcements, the Chatham Maroons will open their main camp this weekend, with holes to fill in their roster.
“This years camp will include 2 skill sessions Saturday and Sunday mornings and then 2 scrimmages in the afternoon,” Maroons head coach Kyle Makaric explained.
“We have spots open up front and on the back end and looking for players who bring a high skill level and mix that with a competitive mindset. Our camp focus after we select the team will be to have our players prepared to show their best at our league showcase September 7th and 8th.”
Chatham has announced the signings of forwards Kyle Fisher, Brett Fisher, Griffin Robinson, Maddux Rychel, Ty Moss, Tate Bowden, Braeden Caetano, Zach Power, and Adrian Stubberfield.
As well, defenders Ryan McKim, Kaleb Tiessen, Aleksa Babic, and Jake Fields, as well as goaltenders Tiago Rocha and Noah Zeppa have announced their signings.
With those numbers, the Maroons will look to solidify an entire line of players at training camp.
One notable omission from their signing announcements has been either of Chatham’s 16-year-old cards.
The Maroons will host main camp August 10 and August 11.
