The Wallaceburg Thunderhawks inked 3 players on Wednesday for the upcoming 2019-20 PJHL Season.

Anthony Acchoine, Trevor Pike and Braiden Shaw have been signed, as the Thunderhawks work to restructure and rebuild themselves back into a competitive franchise.

Pike, a South Woodslee product joins the Thunderhawks from the GMHL’s Niagara Whalers, where the defender had 6 points in 33 regular season games, before adding an assist in 7 playoff contests.

Shaw, a 19-year-old goaltender played 5 games last season for the Petrolia Flyers, registering a 3.69 GAA and .864 save percentage.

Finally, Acchoine comes out of the Riverside hockey system. A former Bluewater League all-star.

Main Camp gets underway for the Wallaceburg Thunderhawks on Saturday August 24 from 4:30-7:30pm, and then again on Sunday August 25 from 4:30-7:30pm

Further skates and 3 exhibition games will take place in preparation for the season opener on Sunday September 15 in Blenheim.
