Durston To Play At World Championships, Traded To Black Wolves
Jordan Durston of Wallaceburg will be representing the Iroquois Nationals at the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships this week after being named to the team.
Team Iroquois is in the tournament’s top pool alongside the United States, Canada, Israel, and England.
Durston is a veteran of four seasons in the National Lacrosse League split between the Vancouver Stealth and Buffalo Bandits.
He was selected this offseason by the New York Riptide in the NLL expansion draft. Last season with Buffalo Durston, who is a Wallaceburg Red Devils and Wallaceburg Minor Lacrosse alumni, had 47 points in 18 games.
This past week, Durston was traded to the NLL’s New England Black Wolves
The World Indoor Lacrosse Championships begin Thursday, September 19 in Langley, British Columbia.
