Lancers Take Silver, Show OFSAA Potential In Season Opener

The UCC Lancers Senior Boys Volleyball team finished second at the Stratford St Michael’s tournament Saturday, showing the team’s potential, including for an OFSAA run, this season.

After going 12-0 winning their pool and defeating Cardinal Newman & Stratford St Mike’s in the playoffs, UCC lost a thrilling 25-23, 23-25, 15-11 final to OFSAA champions Eden.

Top players for the Lancers were Zack Myers, Kyle Wammes, and Clarke Denomy.

The Lancers are back in action this weekend at McMaster University.
