CKSN Chatham-Kent September Male Athlete of the Month: Nick Wammes

The CKSN Chatham-Kent Male Athlete of the Month for September 2019 is Nick Wammes.

Each month, CKSN.ca will name a female and male athlete of the month.

Wammes opened the month at the Pan Am Championships in Bolivia finishing 7th in the sprints and kilometre.

He then raced in an event in Trinidad and Tobago Donahue f second in the match sprint and third in the keirin.

Wammes’ biggest successes however came at the Canadian National Championships.

He won silver in the one-kilometre time trial, and gold in the team sprint, men’s keirin and match sprint.

Wammes CKSN Athlete of the Month honours, will earn him a spot in the voting to be named the 2019 Male Athlete of the Year.
