Craig Spence Joins Brother With OJHL’s Georgetown

The roster shake down was not kind to Craig Spence in his first campaign with the OHL’s Mississauga Steelheads.

Spence, a defender, who signed with the Steelheads this summer after they drafted him in the 7th round, 128th overall in 2018.

After not dressing in the opening week of the season, Spence was sent to the OJHL’s Georgetown Raiders where he joins his brother Grant Spence.

Craig Spence joined the team this weekend going scoreless in his first two games with the team, and collecting four penalty minutes. He played for the Chatham Maroons as a 16-year-old last season.

His older brother Grant Spence, is in his second season in the OJHL with Georgetown. He has 5 points through 9 games.
