Denys Off To Strong Start With Lancers

Chatham basketball player Maggie Denys got off to a strong start to her OUA career, knocking down 14-point and 15-point performances for the University of Windsor Lancers women’s basketball team.

Denys hit double digits in Windsor’s 98-64 season opening win over the Western Mustangs.

She played 16-minutes and was 5-for-8 shooting, while also registering 2 rebounds and 2 steals.

Saturday, Denys started, playing 24-minutes, scoring 15-points in a 79-60 win over Laurier. She also had 3 rebounds, 2 assists, a block and a steal.
