The Crush opened their season 0-2, but bounced back with a pair of wins in their last two games to bring their record to .500.

Chatham-Kent beat Belmont 6-0 on the weekend, and followed it up with a 2-1 win over the Bluewater Hawks Wednesday on home ice.

After Bluewater scored first on the power play, Natalie Sands forced a turnover in the offensive zone and beat the Bluewater netminder to tie things at 1-1.

Late in the third period, Camryn Pestru scored the game winner, with assists going to Abby Balan and Alison Shaw.

Samara Whiteye took the win between the pipes for the Chatham-Kent Crush.
