The CKSN Chatham-Kent Male Athlete of the Month for October 2019 is Brett Brochu.

Each month, CKSN.ca will name a female and male athlete of the month.

Brochu appeared in 6 games during October for the OHL’s London Knights, finishing with a 4-1 record.

During his first game of the Month, Brochu earned his first career OHL shutout stopping 18 shots against the Ottawa 67s.

Brochu, a Tilbury product, finished the month sitting among the top 10 in OHL goalie statistics as a rookie, stealing London’s starter role, and allowing the Knights to trade away NHL draft pick Jordan Kooy.

Brochu’s CKSN Athlete of the Month honours, will earn him a spot in the voting to be named the 2019 Male Athlete of the Year.

Congratulations Brett, from CKSN.

Honourable Mention: Brady Stonehouse, Declan Waddick, Seth Henderson, Zach Lindley.
