After suffering an embarrassing defeat a week ago on home ice the Blenheim Blades took their revenge on the Wallaceburg Thunderhawks with a 11-1 win Sunday night. The Thunderhawks were missing some key players last night,
and the teams gritty, feisty play was absent.

Wallaceburg is a team that needs to bring that intensity to ever game, or thing go badly for them.

The Blades had the lead throughout the entire game, leading 4-0 after one, and 8-1 after the second period. Several Blades players had multi point nights with Ben Barnard picking up 5 points (1G, 5A), Carter Wright 4 points (1G, 3A),
Jaxon Boucher 4 points (2G, 2A), Tyler Davis 3 points (3G), Seth Henderson 3 points (3A). Christian Moccia, Malcolm Campbell, and Alex Cunningham all picked up a pair of points on a goal and assist.

Blades goaltender Caleb Pinsonneault had a pretty quiet night but was sharp when called upon. He also got in on the scoring with an assist.

The Thunderhawks have till Tuesday to regroup when they travel to Essex, to face the 73’s. The Blades are off till next Sunday, when Wheatley comes to town.
