Konecny Enjoys NHL All-Star Experience
The 22-year-old Chatham-Kent product represented the Philadelphia Flyers.
“Playing in the All-Star Game was a lot of fun,” Konecny wrote for NHL.com.
“It was my first one, so I was just soaking it all in. I met some new players that I hadn’t met before. There was a lot of skill on the ice, so it was fun to watch. The guys just had fun with it. That was my favorite part.”
Konecny had 3 assists for the Metropolitan Division in a 9-5 loss to the Atlantic Division. He also participated in the NHL’s fastest skater competition.
In 47 games this season, Konecny has 17 goals and 43 points.
