Novice Wildcats Roar To Gold In London

The Wildcats went undefeated starting off the weekend beating the host team London CYO 40-9 with Cristelle Suffi scoring a game high 12 points. They continued their weekend with an exciting nail biter game beating the Huron Lakers 12-8. Scarlett Leigh lead the team in scoring with 4 points.
The girls then had a fun friendly game with the other Chatham Novice Girls Rowden team who also medaled in the tournament, winning the game with a score of 30-6. The girls spread the scoring out with Cristelle Suffi scoring 8, and Rebecca Morrison and Kayce Ferren adding 6 each.
The Chatham-Kent Wildcats ended the tournament Sunday morning beating the London 86ers with a final score of 31-6 and securing 1st place. Cristelle Suffi lead the team with 15 points.
The girls continue their season next weekend in Windsor at the Hoopin’ Round the Clock tournament.
