The Blenheim Blades face an uphill battle if they hope to get past a powerful Lakeshore Canadiens in first round PJHL play. Last night in Blenheim the Canadiens handed the Blades a 7-0 loss, to go up 2 games to 0 in a best of seven series.
The two teams face off again tomorrow in Lakeshore, puck drop at 7 pm.
Last night the Canadiens outshot the Blades 58-14. Veteran goaltender Chris Dewulf had a solid game in net. The Blades trailed the Canadiens by two after the first, by four after two. Lakeshores Tyson Chittle and Eric Larue each had a pair of goals with singles going to Adan Pizzo, Blake Bain, and Jake Nimmo.
Former Dresden King Brendan Ritchie picked up three assists for Lakeshore.
