Bridget Carleton Will Soon Be An Olympian, Canada Qualifies

Playing at the FIBA Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Ostend, Belgium, Canada defeated host Belgium 61-56 before blowing out Sweden 80-50 to secure a spot at the Tokyo Olympics this summer.
Carleton has played the second most minutes of any Canadian through the two games behind only WNBA All-Star Kia Nurse.
In Saturday’s Olympic securing win over Sweden, Carleton had 8-points and 4-rebounds, playing 24:54.
Chatham born Miranda Ayim is also part of Team Canada.
