Goodburn Golden With Dream Catchers At Ontario Native Volleyball Invitational

Rylee Goodburn from Delaware Nation, who currently plays for the Chatham Ballhawks 14U team, recently won gold at the 2020 Ontario Native Volleyball Invitational.

Goodburn was competing with the Dream Catchers, a team comprised of players from the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Six Nations of the Grand River, Missisaugas of the Credit First Nation, Kettle and Stony Point First Nation and Eelünaapéewi Lahkéewiit – Deleware Nation.

The Dream Catchers played the Aboriginal Sport and Recreation New Brunswick U17 Girls team for three sets and came out on top to win Gold at 2020 ONVI.

Goodburn was also part of the bronze medal winning Chatham Ballhawks U14 team this past week at the McGregor Cup in Georgetown, Ontario.
