Ridgetown’s Zander Veccia and Blenheim’s Brady Stonehouse have qualified for the OHL Cup with their Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs.

Stonehouse is the Alliance’s playoff scoring leader with 13 goals and 23 points in 12 games, helping the Chiefs to the Alliance final, a position which guarantees both the Chiefs, and their opponent, the Hamilton Huskies a spot in the OHL Cup.

Veccia has 9 goals and 15 points in 12 games.

The Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs defeated Huron-Perth to advance to the finals.

Elgin-Middlesex will open their Alliance final February 29.
