Kucera Sisters Named OCAA All-Stars

St. Clair College’s Logan and Jana Kucera (Chatham, ON) were both named OCAA Women’s Basketball All-Star selections Thursday night at the Championship Banquet hosted at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts in Windsor. Logan was named to the West Division 1st Team while Jana was placed on the 2nd Team.

The 3rd year 5’6” guards led the Saints in scoring with Logan ranking 10th in the province at 16.4 points per game while adding 6.3 rebounds per contest. Jana was 8th in provincial assists dishing out 3.9 per game and stood 16th in OCAA scoring at 15.1 points per game.

As hosts of the OCAA Final 8 Championship the Lady Saints (13-3, West 3rd Place) have an automatic berth and will face George Brown College (Toronto) at 6:00pm in Friday’s quarterfinal matchup.
