Lancers Win SWOSSAA Hockey, OFSAA Bound

The UCC Lancers won the SWOSSAA ‘AAA’ girls hockey championship Monday, beating the Sandwich Sabres 5-2.

Cassie Whiteye and Natalie Bray carried their team offensively, each collecting a pair of goals in the game.

Brooke MacLoed added the insurance scoring an empty net goal.

The Lancers will now participate in OFSAA in Belle River later this month.
