The Southwest Wildcats were eliminated from the PWHL playoffs Saturday night, falling three games to one to the Burlington Barracudas.

After winning a decisive game three 5-1 on Friday, Southwest couldn’t hold their momentum, and lost 3-2 Saturday.

Former Chatham Outlaws forward Sarah Marchand scored in the loss, with Charing Cross’ Brooke Michaud assisting on the goal.

Marchand and Michaud both finished the series with 3 points, as did former Chatham Outlaws forward Brooke Campbell.

Wallaceburg’s Taryn Jacobs had a goal in the series, while Chatham’s Brenna Dittmer had a single assist.

Other former Chatham hockey players, Emery Bonner and Bri Eid were held off the scoresheet in the series.
