Ryan Gagner is excited about his hockey future. In fact, his selection by the Peterborough Petes in the OHL Draft was something he’s always dreamed of.

The Chatham-Kent Cyclones forward was taken in the 6th round, 115th overall by the Petes.

“I am very honoured to have been selected by Peterborough, they are a fantastic organization with lots of history and I cannot wait to be a part of the team,” said Gagner.

Gagner tied for the Chatham-Kent Cyclones minor midget ‘AAA’ scoring lead this season with 29 points in 33 games followed by 8 points in 8 playoff games.

For the Chatham product, being selected in the OHL Draft is a dream come true.

“Getting drafted in the OHL has been something I have always dreamed of and worked towards, so for it to become a reality is a great feeling. Can’t wait to get started!”
