Off Ice Training Tip: Lower Body Zig Zag Skaters

Arenas are closed and the offseason has started early, so it’s time to get to work.

Since you can’t be on the ice, improving your lower body strength, and skating, without use of a gym is crucial.

Use pucks, or cups as your cones at home, and work on a strong leg drive and stride. This drill can be done both forward and backward.
