Lucarelli Commits To Hometown Chatham Maroons
Anthony Lucarelli of Chatham has committed to play next season for his hometown Chatham Maroons.
“Anthony is a great mix of size and skill,” the Maroons states about Lucarelli in a media release.
“He has also proven the ability to score and produce offensively at all levels. He uses his size and skill to get to the high traffic areas on the ice to create offensively. Anthony is very driven to reach the next level of his hockey career. He will be an excellent addition to our team.”
Lucarelli was a London Knights draft pick, 39th overall, in the 2020 OHL U-18 draft.
The 6’1” centreman finished 4th in the Alliance Hockey midget scoring race with 17 goals and 39 points in 35 games, and 10 points in 10 playoff contests, playing for the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs.
The UCC student spent the year prior with the Chatham-Kent Cyclones.
