Westman Joins Maroons Crease

The Chatham Maroons have added a netminder to their crease for next season signing Stratford’s Hardy Westman.

Westman has spent the past three seasons playing for A21 Academy in Windsor.

He’s very quick and efficient in his crease,” said Maroons head coach and general manager Tyler Roeszler of Westman.

“He commits well to shots and plays big. Hardy also handles the puck very well. He is coming from prep hockey, where he has been on the ice and trained everyday for the past three years. Hardy is very driven to becoming the best goalie he can be.”

Last season Westman had a 3.17 GAA in 25 games. He is a product of the Huron-Perth ‘AAA’ system.
