Former Wallaceburg Hockey Player Brad Staubitz Named Sarnia Sting Associate Head Coach
The Sarnia Sting have named former Wallaceburg hockey player Brad Staubitz as the team’s new Associate Head Coach.
“This a well-deserved promotion for Brad,” said Sting general manager Dylan Seca.
“He has put the time into this league and team over the last 5 seasons and is ready to take the next set of challenges and responsibilities as the team’s Associate Head Coach. He is well-respected within our dressing room and organization. We welcome his passion and competitiveness to win, helping our players improve on a daily basis.”
Staubitz has served as an assistant coach with the OHL’s Sarnia Sting since 2016.
Staubitz played for the Wallaceburg Lakers in 2000-2001 before jumping to the OHL. He played 230 NHL games for the San Jose Sharks, Minnesota Wild, Montreal Canadiens, and Anaheim Ducks.
