Olympic Hockey Player Brigette Lacquette Sends A Message To Walpole Island Athletes

Team Canada National women’s hockey team member Brigette Lacquette sends a message to Indigenous youth in Walpole Island, encouraging them through sport.

Lacquette was the first First Nations woman to play for Team Canada. She has won an Olympic silver medal in 2018, and also has won two silvers and a bronze at the World Championships.

Lacquette is wishing local youth a Happy National Indigenous History Month.
