Happy Canada Day From Genevieve Sasseville
Chatham-Kent has many athletes representing Canada. On this Canada Day, we asked a few of Canada’s athletes to tell us about what it feels like to represent Canada and wish the rest of their community a Happy Canada Day.
Here is what Genevieve Sasseville had to say:
Happy Canada Day!! I’m Genevieve Sasseville and I’ve swam for team Canada several times in the past few years. I want to wish everyone a happy Canada Day and express how amazing it feels to represent the country on an international stage. My favourite part is knowing I have the support of my country behind me! I think that everyone can experience this amazing feeling by supporting one another through these unprecedented times! We can do this Canada!
