Mayor Canniff Discusses Renovation Costs, And Another Chance For Arena Funding

Chatham-Kent’s hope for a new arena complex isn’t dead according to Chatham-Kent Mayor Darrin Canniff.

According to the Mayor, he had a discussion with Ontario Premier Doug Ford, and learned new infrastructure funding may become available soon.

Canniff also discussed the cost to renovate Chatham’s Memorial Arena, which would be covered by the $18-million Chatham-Kent council placed in reserves.
