Doug Ford Wants To See The OHL Return, With Bodychecking
Ontario Premier is wanting to see the Ontario Hockey League return to play as soon as possible, and the Ontario government is engaging in conversation with the league to make that happen.
According to Ford, that return, in his eyes would ideally include bodychecking.
We are engaging with the @OHLHockey to create a safe return to play plan, which will need to be approved by health experts. To date no decisions have been made. I would like to see the OHL return as normal as possible with body checking.

Ford’s message came only a day after Lisa McLeod, Ontario’s sport minister said the matter of bodychecking in the OHL’s return-to-play plan was a closed topic.
