When 2020 began, Carleton was playing professionally in Australia with the WNBL’s JCU Townsville Fire. That seems like a lifetime ago, but it was a stepping stone for Carleton’s strong WNBA season.

She not only earned her job with the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx, but she earned a starting position, and became a fixture on the floor in her first full season with the Lynx. She had an incredible campaign. She set career bests in everything.

As the year ended, Carleton was playing professionally in France. If there was any athlete that seemingly had a full year of competition, it was Bridget Carleton.
