The Toronto Maple Leafs made the bulk of their cuts this week, leaving the roster, which includes TJ Brodie, primed to make their regular season debut Wednesday night.

Toronto opens their season Thursday, January 13 at 7pm against the Montreal Canadiens and will play a back-to-back against the Ottawa Senators Saturday and Sunday.

Brodie has been skating alongside Morgan Reilly on the team’s top pairing, and has also seen powerplay time during practice.

After a decade with the Calgary Flames, tomorrow will be the first time in Brodie’s NHL career he’ll pull on a jersey other than the Flames.

Last season Brodie had 19 points in 64 games for the Flames.

He signed a 4-year, $20 million contract with the Maple Leafs in October.
