Lavoie Earns Delta State Athlete of the Week Honours

Wheatley’s Madison Lavoie was named the Delta State Guaranty Bank Featured Athletes of the Week.

Lavoie won three individual events in a dual meet against the University of West Florida over the weekend.

She won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.29), 200-yard breaststroke (2:22.42) and the 200-yard IM (2:09.21).

Lavoie also swam as part of the winning Delta State 200-yard medley relay team.
