Smithson Enjoying Strong Sophomore Season With Holy Cross

Former Chatham Outlaws hockey player Sofia Smithson has stepped up her game in her second season with the NCAA Division I Holy Cross Crusaders.

Smithson, who most recently played for the Chatham Outlaws during her Bantam season, after which she played for the PWHL’s Southwest Wildcats and Mississauga Chiefs.

Smithson tallied her second goal of the season this week in a 4-2 Holy Cross loss to UConn.

Through 4 games Smithson has 4 points for Holy Cross.

Smithson is among a group of 8 former Chatham Outlaws/Crush hockey players who are currently committed to, or playing for NCAA Division I teams.
