Stephens Sets School Discus Record

Alison Stephens set a new University of Arkansas at Little Rock school discus record.

Stephens, a Chatham product, threw 44.81m to break an 8-year school record. Her throw, which occurred at the Red Wolves Open smashed Rebekah Grissom’s 2013 mark of 43.8m.

Stephens also finished the meet with the third-best hammer throw in school history with a throw of 48.05m.

Alison Stephens is in her sophomore year with the Little Rock Trojans, but this is her first outdoor track and field season.
